Trustee Selection

This year, we are required to run an Open Selection Process for Trustees ahead of our AGM. We are advertising for Trustees using the following form of words:

Scouts The Malverns are looking for help.

Our Trustees are a team of volunteers who work together, as charity Trustees, to make sure the Scouts is run safely and legally. At the heart of their role is a focus on strategy, performance and assurance.

Effective Trustees support enables other volunteers run the Scout programme that gives young people skills for life.

We know you are busy already, but don’t worry – you won’t need to come to Scouts every week, run a session, or give up all your free time. Typically, our Trustee Board meets 5 times a year and conducts any other business by e-mail.
